Q: Where are you located?
A: Our office is located at 112 North Garrison Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Cash and Zelle only. Full payment is required in advance to secure your spot.
Q: Do you offer weekend lessons?
A: Yes, but spots are extremely limited and they include a premium fee.
Q: Can adults take the Teen Program?
A: Yes! If you're over 18, or graduated, you're welcome to enroll in the full Teen Program for $600.
Q: Do you offer pick-up or drop-off?
A: Yes, but only for students enrolled in the Gnome Track (6 hours of behind-the-wheel in one day). In that case, I can pick up the student from home, and a parent can pick them up afterward. For all other students, drop-off and pickup must be at the office because of limited time and having multiple students in one day.

Q: Do I need a permit to start training?
A: Teens need a valid SC beginner’s permit before doing behind-the-wheel lessons, but they can start the classroom at any time. Adults can begin driving lessons even if they’re still working on getting their permit.

Q: How long do I have to hold my permit before taking the road test?
A: South Carolina requires all teen drivers to hold a beginner’s permit for at least 180 days before taking the road test. People 18 and over are required to have it for at least 30 days.

Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
A: Just let me know at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows or last-minute cancellations may be charged a fee to reserve future appointments.

Q: Do you offer lessons before or after school/work?
A: Yes. I offer flexible scheduling, including early mornings and late afternoons but they are very limited. The fasted way to get done quick is to simply use the Gnome Track. In this case, you would miss one day of school and complete all 6 hours and your road test in one setting. If you choose the 3 hour track option, your lessons will be spread out over a minimum of several weeks so you can practice what you are taught. We only offer after school lessons a couple days per week. Otherwise they normally occur during school hours. Very limited weekend slots are also available but they come with an extra fee.

Q: Is your car equipped with dual brakes?
A: Absolutely. My vehicle is fully equipped with dual controls for maximum safety.

Q: What do I need to bring to class or a driving session?
A: Bring your beginner’s permit and a good attitude. You can bring snacks or water if you’d like. Lunch (pizza) will be provided during the class session and snacks will also be available for purchase. You are also free to bring your own lunch.

Q: What happens if I fail the road test?
A: If you’ve purchased a training package that includes a test, you get one free retest. We can schedule more practice if needed — no pressure. If you simply come to us for a road test with no instruction package, we do not offer a free re-test.

Q: How do I schedule a class or driving session?
A: Call, text, or email Gene directly. Appointments are booked first-come, first-served.
